About The Speaker
Cara Koscinski, OTD, MOT, OTR/L, CAS, has over 25 years of experience as a clinician. She founded The Pocket Occupational Therapist in 2005 after her sons were diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. Cara specializes in sensory processing, behavior, trauma-informed care, interoceptive training, executive function, and is internationally certified as an Autism Specialist. Dr. Koscinski published six books that are sold globally and enjoys presenting at state and national conferences. As an educator at a large university, she taught MOT and OTD students about pediatric therapy. Today, you’ll find her sharing her passion for helping children to achieve goals through a strengths-based approach.
